BrieFLY in English

Helsingin Perhokalastajat ry. (The Helsinki Fly Fishing Club) is a fly fishing club founded in 1992. We have approximately 130 members from very experienced anglers to beginners.

Weekly club meetings form the body of our activity. Program of these meetings varies from fly tying to book introductions. In addition to these we organize fishing trips, casting practice sessions during winter time and public events, for example fly casting competitions. We also organize several competitions to our members annually.

We have participated in a significant nature project from year 2009. In co-operation with Virtavesien hoitoyhdistys ry (The Finnish River Management Association) and the City of Helsinki we are restoring one small river in the city area as to become a natural spawning area for endangered sea trout.

If you have any questions concerning our activity, please contact us by email helsinginperhokalastajat[at]gmail.com.

You are more than welcome to join us!
